OVERVIEW

Nodake Lake Park, part of the Taradake Prefectural Natural Park offers a serene and breathtaking lake view. The lake was constructed in the Edo period, in an effort made by the Omura domain to develop Taradake Village. Development funds were contributed by Fukazawa Gidayu who was born in present day Hasami Town of Nagasaki Prefecture. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and is complete with amenities like a camp ground and cycling tracks. Rich in nature, this is a great place for relaxation throughout the year.
